Biella the Wool Company

Biella the Wool Company offers the woolgrower the opportunity of transforming his small lots of greasy raw wool into washed wool or dyed yarn, or sweaters and scarves or other, already packed and ready for sale at retail. The various operations will be carried out in a processing chain offering full traceability and maximum respect for the environment. All performed in Biella, an italian wool textile district known worldwide for it's excellence in wool textile production.

The congress will take place in the Santuario di Oropa, in Biella, Italy. The monestry is a unique location where more than 300 elegantly furnished rooms will make your stay and the congress an unforgettable experience. All of the rooms have been recently renovated. Historical and famed destination for pilgrims at 1200 m above sea level, Oropa is the perfect starting point for walks, mountain bike rides, trekking, skiing and climbing.

A visit in April 2015 to Santurio di Oropa by Dawie du Toit and Trudel Andrag, organizers of the 8th World Congress on Coloured Sheep in Paris, France. Nigel Thompson (centre) from Biella the Wool Company will organize the next World Congress on Coloured Sheep. He and Carmine De Luca, second from the left, will be your hosts.
